[Rewarded Review] Great Mug with a MAJOR FLAW!

December 10, 2024My husband got me a 26oz Yeti Rambler Mug with the Magslider Lid for Christmas last year (2023).
THE GOOD:
1. Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours depending on your choice of beverage.
2. Despite its larger bottom, it still fits into the cupholder of my car, although it doesn't sit flush with the bottom. Good enough though to keep it in place.
THE BAD:
Contents leak out from the Magslider area even when fully closed! EVERY TIME! This is, in my opinion, a huge product flaw. For $25+ per mug, one would expect that the Yeti design folks could come up with a leakproof option! I have much cheaper insulated mugs that do not have this problem. Seriously! All that money for a cup that leaks? When contacting customer service about it to file a warranty claim (thinking I had a malfunctioning lid), I was simply informed that those Magsliders are not waterproof and that it states so on its packaging. Interestingly enough, when looking at their product description online, nowhere does it state that. So, I'm basically stuck with an expensive insulated mug that I can only use when sitting quietly behind my desk rather than taking it to the gym to keep my protein shakes cool or sip on a hot beverage when out and about. If it weren't for that major flaw, this would be a fantastic product. However, given that Yeti intentionally sells high dollar items with known issues and apparently no interest in finding/offering a solution to its customers, we will refrain from purchasing other Yeti products.

December 15, 2024If Dale Earnhardt himself had a favorite tumbler, it would absolutely be a YETI. Not only does this bad boy hold my coffee like it’s drafting at 200 mph, but it also keeps it hotter than the competition in the final lap at Daytona. The only thing this tumbler doesn’t do is scream “Intimidator” as it makes its way across the counter — though honestly, it feels like it should.
When I first got my YETI tumbler, I thought, “Yeah, it’s just a cup, whatever.” But then I filled it up, and suddenly I felt like I was ready to take on the world (or at least drive a racecar while tossing back coffee with zero spills). The lid fits so snugly, it’s like the car door of a Chevy Monte Carlo during a pit stop. Not a drop in sight.
I’ve had this thing for six months, and it still holds ice like a NASCAR pit crew holds onto a set of tires—fast, efficient, and without a single drop leaking. I’ve even left it in my car during a heatwave, and my ice was still there, chilling like a legend in the driver’s seat. If Dale Earnhardt had a YETI, it would probably refuse to ever sweat, just like him.
Bottom line: This tumbler is as indestructible as Earnhardt’s legacy, and it keeps my drinks colder than the turn 4 wall after a 200mph wreck. It’s not just a tumbler; it’s the Dale Earnhardt of drinkware.
5/5 – would absolutely race it around the track.

October 4, 2024Framed and Signed Painting Current bid $0.00 9X11.5" H. Very good condition. Please See photos for more details. Condition: Minor wear. My boyfriend and I bought this for my parents for Christmas and the whole family uses it! I don't know if I would pay the full price though -- we bought it on special for about $130.00 and it was definitely the right choice. It isn't used everyday (because they have a Keurig too), but it can definitely be used everyday. My family now uses it on special occasions or when we have guests over, as it's not really the Nespresso machine itself that's super costly, but the pods. $10 for a pack of 10 pods can really add up over time. Thus, if you have the money to be ordering pods consistently, this is definitely a worth while buy. The coffee that the Nespresso produces is on a completely different level than that of the Keurig. It is rich, flavourful, and extremely enjoyable for anyone who loves coffee, especially black coffee drinkers like myself and my parents. Overall, a great product with a sleek and design that makes it a beautiful addition to anyone's kitchen.

June 1, 2024I never planned on purchasing a Yeti anything. I figured their products always seem to be top price and wasn't sure if their products really were that much different from other more expensive brands. After looking at this model there were three features which sold me. The first was the metal band at the bottom, I have a similar tumbler with a painted bottom in which the paint has worn off over time. Another like is that the seal on the drinking lid is magnetic, this provides a great seal but is also easier to open for someone with arthritis or bad thumbs, it slides very smoothly and easily without allowing liquid to leak when closed. Last but not least is the ability to purchase replacement lids. On another brand tumbler they have been dropped and damaged the lid. With that particular brand replacing the lid is nearly the price of replacing the timber itself. Very wasteful.
