I have been purchasing Armani‘s Aqua Di Gio Eau de Toilette for YEARS and YEARS. I just purchased it Again from their website and what I received is NOTHING like the product I know and love and have used for years. What I received is basically, water, alcohol and 2% fragrance. After I received the product I read reviews on this site and see that I am not the only person who received a watered down product. I’m guessing this is intentional and all future orders will be highly diluted?? The fragrance lasts about 5-10 minutes, even after using way more than should be needed. I actually have a little bit left of my previous bottle and the two smell nothing alike; They both have a hint of the same cent but that’s about it.
I have reached out to Customer Service 3 to 4 times now regarding this issue and every time I receive the same pre-generated response about how I can return this defective product at my own expense. I don’t know if anyone is actually even reading my emails because the responses I keep receiving sound like they’re from an automated system - Most definitely NOT from a company or employee who values their customers and places any emphasis on customer service. I am incredibly shocked and dismayed. Their fragrance is no longer the same quality product and their customer service matches the change in quality.
If you are familiar with this fragrance don’t waste your money and time on this one anymore. It’s totally different and I promise you WILL be disappointed and dissatisfied.

The classic, vintage and popular from the 90s. I wish I could part ways but this fragrance is just put together too well.

From the opening to the base notes, this is a fragrance that does it all in a consistent, mellow and subtle style that declares warmth and freshness of spring and summer, without being too floral, soapy and aromatic. Gio is a citrus scent that opens with good projection and composition of lemon-orange-jasmine giving way to sweet aquatic citrus and floral notes, without the bitterness associated with citrus fruits. This combination steadily and ultimately settles down to floral-musk so ingeniously and admirably that it evokes a feeling of genuine leather on skin. Even through the dry down, the scent gives off pleasant and considerable citrus vibes, making it distinguished and easily recognizable by its name after hours of initial spray. Not only is this a good skin fragrance but it sticks to clothes for days. This is what GIO delivers successfully, making it a fragrance that still retains its value after almost 30 years of its conception.

Acqua Di Gio is one of my favourite fresh-citrus scents and my first buy. Must I mention that the chemistry from the bottle that I own from 2005 is still as potent as the first spray. A very safe and reliable bet.

Acqua Di Gio in 2024. When I started my fragrance journey, I purchased this one early on. One way I like to measure how good a scent truly is for me is if it stands the test of time as I collect more scents. With ADG, the more I purchased, the more I loved this one. All it took was one spray for me to appreciate the citrus notes in this one: fresh lemon, neroli sea notes are what I pick up the most from this. I'm not going to lie say I can detect all 100 notes in this, but just know that the freshness is so pleasing on any day, especially a summer day or a relaxing one indoors. This has become my go-to scent when I am at home or running errands just want to smell clean without standing out, I know that every time I have passed someone with a nice citrus scent on I think wow that person smells so clean and I'm sure ADG will do that for you too. Despite owning over 100 scents, I went through a 100ml bottle and am currently 2/3 through my 300ml bottle, this fragrance is no joke easily blind-buy safe. A 300ml bottle is worth the investment since this lasts not even 3 hours on me and I respray throughout the day. A timeless scent, from a beautiful fragrance line. 9.3/10

Fragrance:The fragrance is how I remembered from the first time I used this scent. It has a fresh scent that's very refreshing and i like it very much. It gives off a subtle fragrance that is not too citrusy but still very pleasant when you smell it.
Texture:From the initial spray, it is easily absorbed by the skin but still the smell stays for a few hours.
Effectiveness:If you want a more consistent and gentle perfume that you can use daily , I totally recommend this one since it can last for 2 to 3 hours and then you can just spray again. Just one or two sprays will do.

The product was neatly wrapped and I received it in good condition. It was also delivered in a considerable number of days. Overall, i would like to thank the seller for having this product available since i was looking for a perfume and i saw this one and i just have to try it, so if you are looking for a pleasant perfume for men you can try this one. We can also consider this as gender neutral since i can see women using this too.
