I do construction - 1st thing I noticed was the leather scuffed more than expected: 2nd waterproof?? spray these boot with water and my socks get wet?? I expected better: 3rd shoe laces unravaled within 2 weeks, I expexted better - definitly need to supply better laces for these boots: 4th the tounge at the top corners has bumps that make the frount of my ankles sore - I wear thick socks to help the problem out: 5th makes my feet hurt - definitely need better insoles - although this is a problem with most shoes/boots, poor quality insoles I.E. 200lb man lifting and hauling 50=80lbs - better insoles needed

I picked up a pair of Raider II at the store my company has an account with. I have no idea what the problem with that pair was but they were awful. Only made it 4 hours into a 12 hour shift and had to change. My feet never hurt that badly. I contacted Wolverine customer service and spoke to them on Facebook. Sent them a couple of photos and they shipped me a new pair without hesitation. The customer service people were as good or dare I say better than even Redwings. I own many brands of boots but wanted to try the redesigned Raider II Durashock. The replacements were night and day different from the moment I put them on. True to size. No boots will leave 53 year old feet walking 15 thousand steps a 12 hour shift on average feeling like new but, so far these Raider's have my feet feeling much better. Be sure to allow a couple of days break in. The leather is good quality and pretty thick so the need to break in some. Now I'm wearing them even on my days off. I seldom wear shoes at all.

Only time will tell how well they hold up but, so far I'm totally satisfied and can highly recommend these to any walking a concrete floor as much as I have to.

Best boots I've ever owned. This will be my 2nd pair. First pair I still use for work going on a year and a half, only replaced insoles once. I work in a warehouse. Plan on using new ones casually. Also, I'm flat footed and weigh 260lbs. I should be in pain right? But nope, feet feel just fine after my shifts.

I love the look, style and overall design of this boot. However, there are several quality control issues I have with my pair and I will be submitting a warranty return. The sizing seems excessively large compared to my my Carbon Toe Hellcats which fit great. The leather was not flush with the sole on one boot and the stitching and fabric cut of the tongue gusset was uneven and rough. When I tried to lace them tighter to compensate for the larger fit, it lead to the Gusset pinching and rubbing on my ankle. I wore them for several weeks hoping they would break in and be passable but they hurt my feet and slide around way too much. I want to love this boot and perhaps a half size smaller would be better, but given I love the hellcats I may just get another pair of those in Black to go with my brown ones.
