I have tried all sorts of brands including Redwings, Merrell, Keen, Tomberland, CAT, *********, and of course knock offs that I can’t even remember what brand they were, but BRUNT tops the field 100%. First thing you notice is the immaculate packaging and fragrance of quality that exudes from the leather. Boots came laced up, with a towel to keep them looking clean, and paper in the toe. A card explaining their double sole construction for those that find them too snug (a second sole under the top sole that raises the footbed), but I slid into these clouds and tightened the laces to find my foot in a perfectly secure, incredibly comfortable piece of footwear. Couldn’t believe how awesome they felt with no break-in needed. Everything BRUNT claims, delivered first hand. I am SOLD. Money well spent for a protective, solid construction work boot that I don’t want to see get messed up! Like Timberlands, the style of these can easily be revered as a fashion statement or a tool to aid in the operations of a hard working man or woman. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! These boots are the beez kneez with a great price to match. Sure some other brands are cheaper, but I will attest with confidence, these boots are worth every penny and some. Will not be my last pair. I am a 10 1/2 and these couldn’t be anymore of a perfect fit.

Well for starters the boot purchased was the Marin soft toe and proved from the start to be comfortable first and foremost. I really liked the breathability of the boot after some 12hr days they proved themselves again . Brunt provided there own cloth and and leather care in the package again another nice touch as I found my self cleaning and re oiling at the end of the month . They were only exposed to rain for non extended periods on rainy days and my feet always felt dry . The soles are still in great shape after four months. I bought my boots in December and it is now going to be April tomorrow. After four months the toes both gave out this Friday that being said they were truly used in the carpentry field and exposed to dry wood only framing and plywood floors. For the money they are cheap enough to buy again to have fresh comfortable boots from the get go. Does the leather outlast a boot at twice cost ? From my experience of other old stone brands of boots I'm going to say no. I base this of forty years plus of boot
buying and wearing in the field. Would I buy them again yes because the price is cheap and the function is there . Defiantly not a year long boot but for the price you can refresh them. I just wish they could have gotten of couple more months of use but you get what you pay for. A fourth star would have been given for a higher quality leather and a fifth would have been given for two extra months of wear.

Just to satisfy my curiosity and get some relief from your add campaign, (Joking of course.) I bought the 6" Marin Soft Toe boot, along with shirts, pants and socks. "For once in a long while I found truth in advertising, very rare indeed. I really didn't expect much to be honest. From the pictures on the website the wedge soul looked to be lacking height or, thickness for my tastes but, alas when inspected in the flesh, it appears more substantial than the photos. Maybe give your photographer a raise and they might shoot the angle of the sole better. Absolutely a game changer in quality materials, construction tech, comfort, fit, looks, and price point. I shop and have worn about every US companies upscale workbooks. You won't find a better boot for under a $1000.00 anywhere. I haven't worn anything else for the two weeks that I have had these blissfully comfortable boots. Straight out of the box, i liked them a lot, everyday I have them, I'm enamored with Brunt Boots more and more. So take it from Mr. Skeptical himself, buy some Brunt products, you'll be amazed at the quality. AND LET'S SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT, AT $139.00 YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. All day standing or walking, I never had foot fatigue or discomfort, even for those extended 10 to 12 hours days. That's something I wasn't experiencing with other much more expensive workbooks. These guys aren't liars, they're just feeding a niche in the working man's world. *** bless you gentlemen and your future endeavors! I'm a customer for life.!

I ordered the Marin tall and shorts. The talls are constructed well and have no issues but are unworn so time will tell. The short Marin had an issue with the left boot leaning like it didn’t get stitched properly on the sole. I contacted Brunt and they were more than happy to replace the pair. I received the replacement pair and have been wearing off and on for the last 3 months since I am coming off a knee surgery and not back to work full time. The left boot now makes me walk on the outside of my heel and almost caused me to roll my ankle multiple times. I contented Brunt with pictures and they said it is outside their warranty and only offered a 15% discount on a new pair. I think this is completely unacceptable since I had a similar quality issue with the same pair, especially since these have only been worn for a total of about 1 1/2 month. The sole is also starting to come ***** on the inside heel, likely due to the sole leaning. Here are some pictures of the boots along with the ********* boots that I have worn for almost 1 year. No issues with the Wolverines or the last 10 pair I have owned. I hope they read this and reconsider as there is a clear defect. I have told so many of my friends what great boots they are but if you have to buy 2 or 3 pair to get 1 that is acceptable quality then they are ****.
