I got this book just because I love to do different word puzzles and sudoku, and this has a good variety. It says it's for brain health but it's just the same as normal puzzles. It has three different difficulty levels- easy, medium, and difficult- and the levels are very accurate. I haven't been able to finish a difficult puzzle yet, but I'm going to keep trying. There is also a warmup level where the puzzle is easy and has the instructions on how to do them and a description of how that particular puzzle style helps your brain health. There is an answer key in the back and six or so pages for note taking for some reason. I like the crosswords, sudoku, and word searches. I haven't tried the calcudoku though it looks a little tough. I have never liked the cryptograms or logic puzzles and I'm not even going to try them. I just do the puzzles I like and give the book to my sister when I'm done for her to finish it up. The pages are nice and thick so there is no bleed-through. I do wish it was spiral bound but that's no biggie. Overall, I would recommend this puzzle book to anyone interested in these types of puzzles.

This is such a great puzzle book for people who don't do them often. I like the way it has little snippets of information throughout the book. The little snippets of information tell you about the different puzzles and different ways to keep your brain and body healthy.

It even walks through and gives you specific directions if you've never seen that type of puzzle before. I don't think it is for the hard-core puzzle doer, but more like a conversational book to reintroduce you to the different types of puzzles.

One of the best things about this book is the overall quality. The pages are nice and thick so when you use your eraser you don't rip the paper. The size of the book is perfect – I don't realize that I'm getting older until I realize that I like the larger font. Another thing that impressed me was when I erased my pencil markings, the ink did not come off the pages, either.

Overall, this is a well-made and well thought out puzzle book. It could even be given as a gift.

As I’ve gotten older my eyesight has degraded as it does for most people. I don’t wear contacts or glasses so I don’t have those to help. This book is in large print and it is perfect for those with aging eyes like me. The book has a few do types of puzzles: crosswords, word search, sudoku and logic puzzles. The book is divided into 4 different sections: warm up (gives you instructions and introduces you to each different puzzle type), easy, medium and difficult. The puzzles do get a bit harder as you flip through sections. There is also an answer key at the back of the book if you do get stuck. This book is perfect for taking to the doctors office, on a car ride, or just about anywhere you will need a distraction. Of course since it’s large print, it’s a large book so it isn’t something you can shove in your purse. This is a great book!

I like the assortment of games. I'm familiar with word searches and Sudoku, and like how this breaks the games into levels by section. I am not very good at crosswords and even the easier ones look kind of difficult to me. But it has ANSWERS! Yes, it has a cheat sheet at the back of the book. So I never have to worry about being too stumped. Cryptograms is a new one for me, but it looks fun. I think this will really help cut the boredom out of the flight, which is great.

The only issue is that this is like a real sized book. It's probably about a half inch thick, which is fine. But it is about the size of a normal sheet of paper. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my luggage. I think I'm supposed to get one checked, one carry on and one personal item. I'm not sure if this will fit well in my personal item I'm supposed to have at my feet. This is certainly too big to fit in any of my small purses. But I'll have to figure it out. It's still nice regardless.
